FAQ
What type of conditions do you treat?

We treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including back and neck pain, sciatica, shoulder, hip, and knee injuries, overuse conditions, postural issues, post-operative rehabilitation, and more.

What should I wear to my appointment?
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily and gives access to the area being treated. Athletic wear such as shorts, leggings, t-shirts, or tank tops works well. If we are assessing your spine, it’s helpful to wear something that allows easy movement and visibility of posture and alignment. For rowers, bring workout gear similar to what you’d wear on the water or erg.
Do I need a physician’s referral?

No referral is needed. In most cases, you can begin physical therapy without a physician’s referral due to direct access laws. If you need care beyond 12 visits or 45 days (whichever comes first), then you need to be seen by a physician.
If you plan to submit for insurance reimbursement, we also recommend checking with your provider, as some plans may require a referral for coverage.
Can my insurance reimburse me for out-of-network visits?

Yes, many insurance plans offer out-of-network reimbursement. While we don’t bill insurance directly, we provide a detailed superbill that you can submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan, so we recommend contacting your insurance company to ask about out-of-network physical therapy benefits, deductibles, and any required documentation. We’re happy to walk you through the process or answer any questions about using a superbill.

Do you accept health spending accounts and flexible spending accounts?

Yes! Physical therapy is typically an eligible expense under most Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). You can use your HSA or FSA card to pay directly at the time of service. If needed, we’re happy to provide a detailed receipt or superbill for your records or reimbursement purposes. If you're unsure about your account’s coverage, we recommend checking with your HSA/FSA provider for specific eligibility.

Do you have a cancellation, policy?

We kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice — or missed entirely — will be charged the full session fee. All cancellation fees must be paid in full before booking your next appointment. We appreciate your understanding as this policy allows us to offer the best care to all our clients.

Do you have parking?

Parking is available behind the building. Please use one of the designated guest spaces.
